Honda is recalling 9,816 2014 Civic LX sedan and coupe vehicles for a possible tire defect.
According to the recall notice, the vehicles were manufactured from November 26, 2013 through January 21, 2014 and the issue is related to the tire mounting process on the factory wheels and tires. The affected vehicles may have had their tire beads pinched between the assembly equipment and the steel wheel rims, potentially causing a leak in the tire.
