The exterior accessories are where things get interesting, with Mopar offering a roof box, a trailer hitch, bike carriers, soft-side cargo carriers, air deflectors, Mopar wheel center caps, a camping tent and sun shelter, a carrier for winter and water sport gear, unique wheels and even a canoe carrier. Mopar is also offering a number of graphics package for those that want more style for their Renegade.
All of these accessories can be selected by the customers during the ordering process, which means that the vehicle will arrive at the chosen dealership already equipped with the add-ons.
In the US the Renegade will use a 1.4-liter turbocharged four cylinder as its base engine, making 150 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque mated to a six-speed manual. A larger 2.4-liter four-cylinder that is mated to the brand’s nine-speed automatic and makes 184 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque will also be available.
