Attendees to the 2014 New York Auto Show will be able to see BMW‘s latest “Sports Activity Coupe” up close and personal.
The German automaker has confirmed that the all-new 2015 BMW X4 will be making its debut at the New York Auto Show on Wednesday, April 16. Joining the X4 will be the 4 Series Gran Coupe, Alpina B6 Gran Coupe, X3 LCI and Concept X5 eDrive.
For the North American market, the BMW X4 will come in two flavors: X4 xDrive28i and X4 xDrive35i. The base model will be priced from $45,625 and will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 240 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. The more powerful xDrive35i features a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine providing 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The X4 xDrive35i will have a starting price tag of $48,925.
The 2015 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, which will also be on display in New York, will arrive dealerships in the early summer of 2014 with the same two engine choices as the X4. In the 428i Gran Coupe however, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder powerplant will make 240 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque while the 435i Gran Coupe will have the same performance specifications at the X4 xDrive35i. Base 428i Gran Coupe models will be priced from $43,225 while the 435i Gran Coupe will go for $46,725.
Making its North American debut in New York, the Alpina B6 Gran Coupe will certainly satisfy performance enthusiasts appetites boasting a 4.4-liter Alpina V8 engine churning 540 hp and 540 lb-ft of torque. The Alpina B6 Coupe will go on sale in spring with a starting MSRP of $118,225.
