This week, selections from South Korean, German, Japan and the U.S. all made it onto AutoGuide.com’s most researched list.
The Hyundai Sonata was popularly searched this week, probably because of the publicity it received after the South Korean company released a teaser image for its upcoming replacement model. The Sonata will adopt Hyundai’s new design language, mirroring the new Genesis sedan.
Mercedes’ CLA-Class was the second-most popular this week, followed by the new Jeep Cherokee. Both serve as relatively inexpensive options within their brands. The CLA-Class is the firs front-wheel drive product from the German brand to be sold in the U.S. while the Cherokee serves as Jeep’s current entrant to the compact crossover segment.
Nissan’s Pathfinder crossover and the Subaru Forester took the fourth and fifth place spots this week. Both offer all-wheel drive and rely on continuously variable transmissions for fuel savings.
