Top 10 Most Expensive Cars to Insure

6. Audi R8 5.2 Spyder Quattro - $2,917

One of the finest sports cars available in today’s market is the Audi R8 Spyder, and when equipped with the 5.2-liter V10 powerplant, it’ll run you $2,917 to keep it insured every year. The engine is good for 525 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque while delivering 12 MPG in the city and 19 MPG on the highway. We’ll doubt you’ll even pay attention to its fuel efficiency though, as you enjoy the drop-top performance the R8 Spyder has to offer.

Also – The author of this article seems to have forgotten the Bugatti Veyron, the Lamborghini Aventador, the new Ferrari F12 & 458 Italia Spyder, the McLaren MP4-12C & P1, the new Porsche 918, etc. Do try to research your articles before you post them…

I pay $27/month to insure my Honda Civic (from Insurance Panda). Expensive cars like these are of no interest to me, nor is throwing away money to insurance companies.
