5. Porsche Panamera Turbo S - $2,970

Porsche’s turbocharged sedan offering is one fine automobile, with its 4.8-liter turbocharged V8 engine churning out 570 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. Those looking for a bit more performance can obtain 590 lb-ft of torque in overboost mode for a short period of time. The Porsche Panamera Turbo S has a starting price of $181,295 and gets a respectable 15 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway, especially considering its performance figures. For these cars if one has to to check out the insurance rates than they shouldn’t be buying these cars in the first place.

Also – The author of this article seems to have forgotten the Bugatti Veyron, the Lamborghini Aventador, the new Ferrari F12 & 458 Italia Spyder, the McLaren MP4-12C & P1, the new Porsche 918, etc. Do try to research your articles before you post them…

I pay $27/month to insure my Honda Civic (from Insurance Panda). Expensive cars like these are of no interest to me, nor is throwing away money to insurance companies.
