Hyundai continued the revamp of its model lineup at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
Debuting in The Big Apple is the 2015 Hyundai Sonata, the second vehicle from the Korean automaker to receive its new design language. Following up on the new Genesis sedan, the 2015 Sonata is a gorgeous midsized sedan that will capture the attention of many shoppers in the segment. The redesigned model will go on sale early this summer and will be built at the Korean automaker’s Alabama plant.

Unlike most automakers that continually add more performance with each iteration of their vehicles, the 2015 Sonata actually sees a decrease in the power department, though with good reason. Both horsepower and torque has been sacrificed for a more accessible powerband for most driving situations, with the 2.4-liter now churning 185 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque while the 2.0-liter turbo sports 245 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.
