The German automaker confirmed that the updated sedan will debut in New York later this month but specifics were kept under wraps. What Volkswagen did promise, however, is that the 2015 Jetta will “feature a refreshed exterior, improved fuel economy and a host of new safety and technology features.”
For 2014 Volkswagen already updated the car with a new rear suspension and an all-new 1.8-liter turbocharged engine.

In addition, expect the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta to gain a new diesel powerplant. While still displacing 2.0-liters, the new TDI engine will add 10 hp for a total of 150, while improving efficiency as well.
The 2015 Volkswagen Jetta will arrive dealerships this September, but stay tuned for more information on the sedan as AutoGuide will be reporting live from this year’s New York Auto Show.
