Dodge announced a sales promotion today that just might convince you to lease a Challenger or Charger even though updated models are right around the corner.
The company is offering a one-year lease on its 2014 Charger and Challenger as it gears up to debut the refreshed 2015 model years this week at the New York Auto Show. The deal, which is called the Dodge Double-Up, will allow buyers to get into a Charger or Challenger right away and in a year, they can move into a three-year lease on a 2015 model year of either vehicle for the same monthly payment and no additional money down.
Customers who want to buy a 2015 model year Charger or Challenger will receive a $1,000 incentive towards the vehicle as part of the Dodge Double-Up program. According to the American automaker, the promotion will become effective Thursday, April 17 and will run through August.
To maintain the residual value of the vehicles, Dodge has come to an agreement with Enterprise Holdings, which operates Enterprise, Alamo and National rental car brands, to purchase the 2014 off-lease vehicles.
