The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has launched its national campaign to fight distracted driving.

Promoting the slogan “U Drive. U Text. U Pay.” the new commercials will be seen throughout the April, which is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. The agency will also be teaming up with the Department of Transportation to coordinate with law enforcement for a crackdown from April 10 to 15 on using mobile devides while driving.

In 2012, there were about 3,328 people killed as a result of distracted driving while 421,000 others were injured.
