General Motors CEO Mary Barra is Saturday Night Live‘s latest victim.
The latest night’s episode satirized Mary Barra’s recent testimony on the massive ignition switch recall. In typical SNL fashion, the show went beyond just poking fun of Barra, but also mocks how CEOs generally answer questions with vague answers that do little to clarify the issue.
Barra and the American automaker have been under fire following the massive recall, which has been linked to at least a dozen deaths. The skit also pokes fun at how GM is attempting to dodge accountability with the “old GM” vs. “new GM” tactic.
