Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray stormed onto the scene, as the sports car’s seventh-generation model brought refinement and performance to a whole new level. This time around however, the American automaker put a keen focus on the Stingray’s interior in order to make it more competitive with European rivals from Porsche and Jaguar.

With options available including carbon fiber trim, a suede-like microfiber headliner and contrast stitching on the comfortable bucket seats, the Corvette Stingray is as luxurious as it is sporty. Of course, you can’t mention the Corvette Stingray’s interior without noting the instrument cluster and center display that features configurable digital graphics that gives the driver a clear view at all the car’s vitals.

Perhaps most importantly, a Corvette made the cut. In the past, their cabins were reviled for being uncomfortable and budget-biased.

No GM truck interior comes close to the Ram.

  • ColumWood

You’re 100% right. And the new interior is certainly award-worthy. We’ve corrected that error.

Should’ve used a pic of a 6M GTI. The DSG is an engineering marvel, but boring to drive. No purportedly sporting car should be missing the third foot-pedal.

You guys must be kidding.. where is BMW?

  • Mikey M

What is up with that list? The only two I agree with is the Merc and the Wraith. I can think of a lot of other interiors that are better than most of those cars! What about the Jaguar F-Type Coupe? Or the 2014 Range Rover Sport? Most of those were American cars and us Americans can’t build cars or design nice interiors without anyone else’s help at all!

Way to go Gm, 2 out of 10 is very good. That Denali is beautiful. Where is that French Fiat truck at? Oh yeah, it’s not in the top 10, it’s way down there some place with the Ferd Fail 150, Toyota Blundra, the Tootan and the Cringeline.

    and you are a bullsheet

  • Pat

Wow really!? Only 2 out of the 10 had nice interiors! The rest were ugly and cheap looking! Yup good one Auto guide!

Chrysler 200C has been reviled by the critics. But I guess it’s a good place to sit while waiting for the tow truck!

For me, most of these are still too busy. Less is more, and I have really come to appreciate what Volvo has (or hasn’t) done to their interiors.
I do not want my car interior to look like a pinball machine.
