Ford is already hard at work on a more powerful version of its all-new Mustang.
Likely called the Ford Mustang GT350, the range-topping model is rumored to make its debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show before going on sale early next year. The GT350 will utilize the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine but will be retuned to offer more than the current 420 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. Early reports suggest that the Mustang GT350 will take advantage of forced induction – but don’t be surprised if it’s not turbocharged, but rather supercharged for plenty of torque.
Expect the front end of the GT350 to be overhauled with a more aggressive style with larger front air intakes and a different front grille. Larger brakes will be a natural fit while 19-inch wheels will be standard.
