Google Maps Updated to be Better for Drivers

Google Maps Updated to be Better for Drivers

You can now go off the grid while staying on the road with Google Maps.

The Internet search giant has updated its mobile maps app, which will now allow users to plan an entire vacation, hike or roadtrip before saving the map to use in offline mode. The Google Maps app will then save the entire trip and map along with directions for offline use. In addition, Google Maps now shows which lane to stay in or move to with a turn incoming.
