Porsche Macan Under Investigation for Faulty Brakes

Porsche Macan Under Investigation for Faulty Brakes

Porsche is conducting an internal investigation on about 2,500 Macan crossovers due to issues with the brakes.

Quality tests have revealed to Porsche that some brake booster units may have been damaged during the assembly process. The company claims that even with the defect, the Macan complies with all legal requirements, but that isn’t stopping Porsche from identifying problematic vehicles and fixing them.

Porsche has high sales targets for the Macan, as it aims to move 200,000 vehicles total by 2015, up from 160,000 delivered last year.
