Best Visibility: Mitsubishi i-MiEV

It might not look it, but the Mitsubishi i-MiEV actually offers great visibility for its drivers. According to Consumer Reports, it’s “like sitting in a fishbowl,” with large front and side windows. Despite the windshield pillars being wide, the inset sail windows help the view in the corners. The i-MiEV’s only negative are the large rear head restraints that block rear visibility, but the car’s rear-view camera helps in that aspect.

These people have clearly never driven a 3000GT. IDC if its not new, you cant see anything out of them.

  • Auto Motive

Nothing worst then the Cadillac CTS coupe. Auto mfgs need to have a 360 degree cameras installed to give the driver 100% visibility at the push of a button. I will pay for it in my next car.

While the the visibility out the back or the side of the FJ Cruiser is just down right ugly and the forward view at stop lights doesn’t include the overhead stoplights, if you are at all tall, it is the coolest vehicle ever made. So too bad for all those folks who haven’t bought one yet, since this is the last year of production. Off road there is no need to look up at stop lights to see if they have changed and there are six forward gears and only one reverse so keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel. TOYO rules!! PS – Don’t forget if you do get stuck with six forward gears with high and Low four wheel drive there is still a locking Differential at the push of a button.

The FJ Cruiser has great visibility as long as one takes the time (and knows how) to place the side view mirrors. If you simply sit inside the vehicle and look around to the outside, you should not be writing a visibility opinion.

why is brz (Subaru) missing? brz has excellent visibility. no rear seat whiplash head rests to impede your view.
