Porsche is busy readying a mid-cycle refresh for the Cayenne, and our spy photographers snapped some photos of the luxury SUV testing almost fully uncovered.
The only camouflage that remains shrouds the tail lights, but the new front end of the Cayenne is in plain sight, besides the headlights which still wear stickers to cover them up. Although the taillights are partially covered, new style can be seen on the back end thanks to a restyled bumper. Overall, the Cayenne looks to be borrowing some styling cues from its new younger sibling, the Macan.

The big news for 2016 isn’t the Cayenne’s styling however, it’s the addition of a new engine. In this case, the Cayenne S will adopt a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 in place of its naturally aspirated V8. That motor will also be used in a hybrid setup in the new Cayenne S E-Hybrid. The hybrid SUV should have around 416 hp and 435 lb-ft of torque, which will allow it to sprint to 60 mph in under six seconds.
Watch for the new Cayenne to debut at the upcoming 2014 Paris Motor Show in October.
