Ford F-150 Power Wheels Built for ‘Off-Sidewalk’ Fun

An all-new, all-electric version of the Ford F-150 is on its way to dealers, but this one is just for kids. 

In partnership with Fisher-Price, Ford has revealed the 2015 F-150 Power Wheels, a child-sized version of the new truck which will launch in late 2014. Powered by a 12-volt battery, Ford says this little F-150 will top out at 6 mph, and is outfit for off-sidewalk adventures through wet grass and gravel.

Two passengers weighing a combined 130 pounds can be accommodated, and will be able to use both the MP3 jack and FM radio to keep their tunes blasting. Bump up to the Extreme Sport version of the little F-150, and real LED headlamps that mimic those found on the half-ton truck are fitted.

This will be the only Fisher-Price Power Wheels pickup truck on sale in America, though the brand also sells Jeep and Cadillac branded buggies. Ford partners with over 400 companies, and licenses products ranging from a Mustang pool tables to video games.

Pricing for the F-150 Power Wheels starts at $349.

    For $350 there are probably a few ACTUALLY F-150’s around I could buy. From the 80’s, though…. 😉
