The German automaker has released a new video teasing the GT, and though it uses some clips from the previous trailer, there’s still plenty of new looks to get us excited. The upcoming sports car will replace the SLS AMG as the automaker’s flagship sports car and it is scheduled to debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show.

But the AMG GT isn’t expected to be a direct replacement for the SLS AMG, as it’ll have a more affordable price tag and will target a different market. Specifications on the AMG GT are still not official, but the car will be powered by the brand’s new 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine.
According to a recent report, the powerplant in its initial state of tune churns out 503 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque and features a Bosch-supplied piezo injection system that is capable of providing up to seven individual injections per cycle. The cylinder barrels have been finished with the German automaker’s patented Nanoslide friction reducing material while the cylinder head has been produced from a lightly Zirconium-refined aluminum and dry sump lubrication.
In the latest video, the company describes the sports car as “a monumental, unwavering engineering achievement.”
