4. Jeep Grand Cherokee - 912 Thefts
A popular SUV since it was first introduced on the market, the Jeep Grand Cherokee recently went through a controversial redesign but that hasn’t stopped it from staying a top-seller within the marketplace. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee starts at $30,490 and comes standard with the American automaker’s popular 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 290 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy is respectable considering the Grand Cherokee’s size with 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. Better keep an eye out on it though, considering 912 of them were stolen over the span of three years.
