2015 Chevrolet Volt Gets Minor Changes

As the Chevrolet Volt nears the end of its current generation, the Automaker has added subtle changes for the 2015 model year.

No major changes will be heading to the 2015 Chevrolet Volt, but the American automaker is adding OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, a new package that bundles navigation with Bose Premium Audio and has replaced the White Diamond Tricoat paint option with an extra-cost Iridescent Pearl Tricoat.

The next-generation Volt is expected to make its debut next year and is being developed on a new front-wheel drive platform. It is likely that Chevrolet will increase the electric-only range on the new Volt, but don’t expect any revolutionary changes to its styling.

Keep dropping the MSRP! If we can’t have more AER or back seat legroom, at least GM can drop the price so it will be more appealing. Dealers are already making deals for base Volts at $31k, so dropping the MSRP won’t change what they are actually getting and it will help convince the fence sitters that buying it sooner is better than waiting for later.
