    WOW! That Ecoboost sounds awesome!

  • Felix James

I’ll admit, I was expecting more fro the V8.

The V6 was always lame… now it’s just TERRIBLE

  • daktah

they probably detuned it to make the ecoboost sell better since that is the new flagship tech this year
but either way if you get anything smaller than a v8 in a muscle car you deserve to be made fun of and smoked by ricers

  • Marc

Omg !!!! 435 hp it’s a bit disappointing … I expected at least 450 hp. I think it will be good to let pass the first year and wait for the 2016 or 17 to have better numbers and tranny,

  • Some Guy

I doubt many “ricers” will even be in the sights of the poor, lowly, asthmatic 300 hp of *just* the base Mustang…

    What do you drive?

  • Some Guy

Think of a more refined all around platform. Ford already made their statement with their outgoing GT500. Dodge’s “Hellcat” succeeds there.

You don’t know about weight yet if they cut the fat like they said they were going to to make it weigh close to the new edge 435 will be nasty. It would be faster than a termi.

  • Rickers

Ford always seems to do their updates in stages, so I’m betting the GT gets a BIG improvement in a year or two.

  • Killa

Found out the weight. New cars are actually heavier. http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2014/07/2015-ford-mustang-gains-pounds.html

707 horsepower the hell Cat is out and it did 11.2 sec. on street tires….with drag radials that’s a 10 second car that hell cat right out of the box

  • TwinCam

The V6 is terrible and gets smoked by Ricers? You don’t have a clue about what your talking about, do you? I destroy 4.6 V8s with my 3.7 V6. And that was stock. The V6 is lighter, has more gears and more power than the 4.6 V8. Do you even have a 5.0? Probably not. Just making up smack talk probably.

Ford tell these numbers for a reason. Its to keep insurance down. It is more than 435 try 465hp
