A brand new generation of Smart car will be unveiled tomorrow, and the company has released a set of sketches to preview what the cars look like.

A more conventional two-box design has been applied to the new Smart Car, which now has a more pronounced hood. The new Smart Fortwo and Forfour will be longer and wider than the current generation, with a larger Tridion safety cell. On the inside, the Smart gets a floating infotainment screen and circular air vents like those found in new Mercedes-Benz models like the CLA-class.

The engine will come from Renault and will still be placed in the rear of the car. It is expected to be a three-cylinder engine making around 105 hp.
