Ford has announced it will be rewarding 10 engineering students annually with a $10,000 scholarship in the name of its former CEO.
The new Alan Mulally Engineering Scholarship program will award $10,000 scholarships to 10 engineering students every year for 10 years. The $1 million program honors the company’s former CEO, who joined Ford in September 2006 and served as president, CEO and a board member until his recent retirement on June 30.
The scholarship program will commence in spring 2015 and funding for the program will consist of $500,000 from Ford Motor Company and $500,000 from the Ford Motor Company Fund.
