De Nysschen says he is leaving Infiniti for personal reasons, one of which is a strong desire to return to the United States where his family is. Currently, de Nysschen works at Infiniti’s new global headquartes in Hong Kong.
De Nysschen will take over as the President of Cadillac, and will be responsible for global sales, pricing, network development, strategic brand development along with marketing and product portfolio planning. He will join the company officially on September, 1.
“I have for some time now been impressed by how the new General Motors has been transformed into a formidable force in the industry,” he said.

The post of Cadillac President was recently vacated by Bob Ferguson. Before de Nysschen went to Infiniti, he served as the head of Audi in the US.
Nissan is considering internal and external candidates to replace de Nysschen, but for now Executive Vice President Andy Palmer will take over the position of President at Infinti.
