The most powerful production Jaguar model to date will make its dynamic debut this weekend.
In celebration of the Jaguar D-type’s 60th anniversary, the British automaker will debut its F-Type Project 7 at the Le Mans Classic race from July 4-6. Though the F-Type Project 7 was unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the sports car will make its dynamic debut running throughout the weekend along with the very first D-type and F-Type R coupes.
Powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine, the F-Type Project 7 boasts 567 hp and can accelerate to 62 mph from a standstill in 3.9 seconds. Its top speed is limited to 186 mph and will be limited to just 250 units. The demonstration laps will take place ahead of qualifying and race sessions for Grid 2, which includes a pair of Jaguar-entered D-types.
