The Porsche Pajun has been delayed again to at least 2019.
The sub-Panamera model is being delayed as part of the German automaker’s overhaul of its future product plan. Originally, the Pajun was scheduled to launch within the next four years, but according to CAR, that plan is no longer in effect. According to the report, parent company Volkswagen “needs all the support its Porsche satellite in Stuttgart can summon, so investments in future products have been pared to the bone.”
It is likely that the Porsche 718 sub-Boxster sports car is still on the table though the remaining proposals of future Porsche models have either been delayed or axed. Described as a five-door coupe, the Pajun is expected to compete with the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E-Class and Audi A6 models.
