Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Series to Compete in Baja 1000
Toyota is gearing up to compete in this year’s Baja 1000.
At a special event in Southern California, the Japanese automaker revealed its modified Tundra TRD Pro Series pickup that will be competing in the Full Size Stock class at the 47th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 from November 12 to 16 in Ensenada, Mexico. According to Andrew Franceschini, Toyota truck marketing and communications national manager, competing in the Full Size Stock class will allow the automaker’s team to test the Tundra TRD Pro “as close to stock as possible and showcase its strength and durability in the Mexican desert’s treacherous terrain.”
