First shown as a static show car at last year’s SEMA Show, the Ford Racing team in the U.S. and Europe both worked with Bandito Brothers to integrate the American automaker’s 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine to bring the Rip Rod to life. Designed and built by Mattel and Bandito Brothers, the Hot Wheels Rip Rod can be seen in a new video tearing through the desert and getting sideways with ease.
