The 2015 Subaru Impreza has been given top honors from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
Last year’s version of the Impreza was named an IIHS Top Safety Pick, but now the car has been adorned with the ‘plus’ moniker thanks to its available EyeSight front crash prevention system. The Impreza has almost perfect marks in every single crash test, including the challenging small overlap test.

To test the car’s Eyesight system, the IIHS had the system avoid collisions at both 12 and 25 mph without driver intervention. Passing this test earned the Impreza a superior rating for front-crash prevention systems.
