Our spy photographers also caught the interior of the 1 Series, though it’s still heavily covered.  Unlike the last car sold with a 1 Series nameplate in North America, the new 1 Series shares its platform with products from MINI and consequently uses a transversely mounted engine and front-wheel drive.
