The Honda Civic remains quite popular in Canada.
For the 17th consecutive year, the Honda Civic is the best-selling passenger car in Canada. Last year, the popular model sold 66,057 units in Canada, outselling its closest competitor by over 15,000 units. According to the Japanese automaker, over 3.8-million Honda Civics have been manufactured in Canada since 1973 and over 1.8-million Civics have been sold in the country over the years.
“We truly value the trust that our customers put in us when they buy a Civic,” said Dave Gardner, vice president of sales and marketing, Honda Canada Inc. “Nearly every Civic sold in Canada is built for Canadians, by Canadians, right here in our Ontario manufacturing facility. Seventeen years is an accomplishment that the entire Honda family can be very proud of; from our over 4,000 associates in Alliston, to our regional and national staff and thousands of associates at our 231 Honda dealers across the country.”
