Last weekend in Scottsdale, Ariz. nearly 3,000 vehicles were auctioned off with 2,532 lots sold. In total, $292.8 million worth of cars went to new owners with an average sale price of $115,729.
As expected, numerous Ferraris sold, eight of which landed in the top 10 grossing auctions from this past weekend.
Seen above is one of the Ferrari sports cars that were tied for 10th place, a 1984 288 GTO coupe that sold for $2,750,000 from RM Auctions.
The other car that received $2,750,000 was also from RM Auctions and was a 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/2 Longnose coupe.
From Barrett-Jackson was the 1954 Pontiac Bonneville Special Motorama Concept Car, which went for $3,300,000.
Tied in eighth place with the 1954 Pontiac Bonneville Special Motorama Concept Car was a 1973 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder, which was offered by RM Auctions and also went for a cool $3.3 million.
This 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 Coupe was also put up by RM Auctions and sold for $3,657,500.
Clearly a collectible, the 1950 General Motors Futurliner Parade of Progress Tour Bus net an even $4 million from Barrett-Jackson with its proceeds going to charity.
