The BMW X1 has been spied testing all over Europe.
AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers caught the 2016 BMW X1 at the Nürburgring and on the streets of Sweden, as the German automaker is putting the finishing touches on the next-gen crossover. Sporting the least amount of camouflage the X1 has been spied with, BMW is conducting both high-speed and cold-weather testing on the same day at two different locations.

The current X1 arrived in the U.S. in late 2012 as a 2013 model and is BMW’s entry in the compact crossover segment. The new X1 will be built on the company’s front-wheel drive platform that can be seen underpinning the next-generation 1 Series and the current MINI models.
