Aston Martin has revealed its 2015 New York Auto Show lineup.
The British automaker will present the Aston Martin Vulcan, the track-only supercar that made its debut earlier this month at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It will mark the Vulcan’s first appearance in North America, joining six other vehicles that include the new Vanquish Carbon, Rapide S, DB9, V12 Vantage S and the V8 Vantage GT Roadster.
The Vulcan was styled entirely in-house by the Aston Martin design team, led by Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman and previews the future design language for the brand. The track-only car is powered by a 7.0-liter V12 engine with over 800 hp.
“We are enormously encouraged by the overwhelmingly positive reaction we have received from customers and sports car fans around the world in response to the Aston Martin Vulcan,” said Aston Martin CEO Dr. Andy Palmer. “I’m delighted that after a debut in Geneva we are able to bring the car to our North American audience, underlining the importance of this market to our business and its role in delivering our Second Century business plan.”
