Scion has added a traditional sedan to its lineup.
Say hello to the Scion iA, a model that will arrive in dealerships this year and if it looks a bit familiar, it should. That’s because the Scion iA is essentially a rebadged Mazda2 and will be powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 106 hp and mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The compact sedan will focus on fuel efficiency, returning an estimated 33 mpg in the city and 42 mpg on the highway.
Just like other Scion models, don’t expect extra trim levels for the iA. It will come standard with 16-inch wheels, push-button start and a pre-collision system.
