Infiniti is showcasing a version of the Q70L sedan in China this week that takes the brand’s interior quality to new heights.

Debuting at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show is the Q70L Bespoke Edition, which the Japanese automaker says showcases “its concept car-inspired interior.” The special version of the long-wheelbase Q70 features four luxurious seats wrapped in rich, white quilted leather and is meant to fill the gap between the current interiors of today’s production cars and the interiors of Infiniti’s concept cars.

Joining the Q70L Bespoke Edition at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show is the Q80 Inspiration and Q60 Concept as the company aims to move upmarket to appeal to Chinese buyers. The company announced that in the first quarter of 2015, sales in China increased by 28.3 percent year-on-year, helping Infiniti record its best ever quarter of sales worldwide with 52,000 units sold.

“Today’s display reinforces Infiniti’s distinctive design language of power and artistry, with the Q70L translating that seamlessly into an interior treatment,” said Roland Krueger, president Infiniti Motor Company. “Our growing product portfolio is continuing to be inspired by our progressive design language as Infiniti further enhances its distinctive presence in the premium world.”

Kia is already doing this quilting on their highest end car. It's certainly not attractive. I'd buy a Lexus.

This is meant for the Chinese Market. Quilting? They will probably have a driver. I say it is down right ugly as sin!
