Testing of the 2016 Audi SQ7 has hit a wall.
The German automaker is currently putting its new high-performance SUV to the test at the Nurburgring, but the prototype didn’t leave the track in the same condition it came in as the driver of the 2016 Audi SQ7 met with a guard rail at a fairly high speed. The crash occurred at the Karussell corner and afterwards the driver slowed down to assess the damage before driving at a slow pace towards the pits.
This is exactly the reason why automakers test their vehicles at what is arguably the world’s most challenging track. It’s highly unlikely that the future everyday 2016 Audi SQ7 owner will be pushing their SUV to theses limits, but now Audi can see what went wrong and continue fine tuning the product before it’s available at dealerships.
