Hyundai is recalling 140,000 Sonatas over an issue with the seatbelt buckle.
In the affected cars, which are 2015 models built between April 25 and December 4 of last year, the buckle may jam and fail to fasten properly, increasing the risk of injury in a collision.
Hyundai says that the dashboard warning light will still operate normally, even if the belt buckle is jammed. No accidents or injuries have been reported as a result of this issue.
Hyundai dealers will repair or replace the buckle in less than an hour, at no cost to the customer.
