Mercedes-Benz is reading an S63 AMG convertible model.
Recently spied testing, the Mercedes S-Class convertible is expected to make its debut at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show in September and the S63 AMG model should bow shortly after. There’s also the possibility that the German automaker will debut the S63 AMG convertible when the model is unveiled in Germany, especially considering how little camouflage this prototype is wearing during testing.
There’s also little surprise with the S63 AMG convertible variant as it’ll share the same 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 powerplant as its coupe counterpart with around 577 hp. The S-Class convertible will feature a soft top that will reportedly retract in just seven seconds, even while the vehicle is in motion.
