Another vehicle that played a major role in a popular TV show is heading to auction.
The 1986 Ferrari Testarossa used in Miami Vice will be heading to a Mecum auction next month in Monterey, California.
The hero car from the hit television show, it has 16,124 miles on the odometer and was stored from 1990 to 2015. It also received a recent engine-out service that cost $8,000. The buyer will receive service records from Shelton Ferrari for the vehicle which has been certified by Ferrari North America and Ferrari Classiche.
The 1986 Ferrari Testarossa will cross the auction block on August 15 with serial number 63631. Other features include a five-speed transmission, cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, door locks and seats. It also sports a rare single flying mirror and a Beige leather interior.
The Ferrari Testarossa is powered by a 4.9-liter V12 engine packing 390 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque and is capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in 5.3 seconds.
