The new trailer for the upcoming James Bond film Spectre has been released, and the sexy Aston Martin DB10 has a starring role.
“Magnificent, isn’t she? Zero to 60 in 3.2 seconds,” says a voice who is presumably Q, Bond’s resident gadgets man. “She has a few little tricks up her sleeve.”
The tailer then cuts to a shot of what appears to be Bond MANUALLY shifting the DB10. This is a good sign, and it gives me hope. There’s a scene later in the trailer that shows what one of the DB10’s tricks is, and it involves fire.
There will be only 10 of these DB10s made, and none of them will be for sale — all will be used in filming the movie. Luckily, the design previews what the DB9 replacement could look like, so some of the design language will likely trickle down to Aston’s road cars soon enough.
Spectre will be released in the fall of this year. Watch the new trailer below, which also has plenty of Land Rovers, exploding helicopters and Jaguars. I am way too excited for this movie.
