There’s a lot to like about the new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V.
With an impressive 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine under the hood providing 640 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque to the luxury sports sedan, Cadillac continues to deliver a true competitor to the likes of the BMW M5 and Mercedes AMG sedans. And having a starting price just shy of $85,000 including destination, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is cheaper than most of its competitors, especially the the M5 that starts from around $96,000.

Along with the menacing powerplant, which is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V also boasts the American automaker’s, third-generation Magnetic Ride Control system and Brembo brakes. The sedan turns 14 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway and a top speed of 200 mph.
Recently, AutoGuide.com‘s very own Craig Cole got a chance to put the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V through thorough testing and found very little things to complain about: “With crushing speed, incredibly dynamics and a healthy dose of luxury, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is a shining star in a segment of luminaries. It comes closer to flawless than many people might expect and is easily one of the best cars this company has ever built.”
