Set to hit dealerships in late 2015, the 2016 Camaro is poised to heat up the muscle car sales race against the redesigned Ford Mustang.
Like Ford’s pony car, the Camaro has added a small turbocharged four-cylinder engine to its lineup, though unlike the Mustang the turbo four banger will act as the Camaro’s base engine making 275 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Moving up, a 3.6-liter V6 is the mid-range engine offering 335 hp and 284 lb-ft of torque while a 6.2-liter V8 still acts the top-dog motor making 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque.
