New sketches of the 2017 Hyundai Elantra have been released.
Hyundai has shared new preview images of the next-generation Avante on its Korean Facebook page, which is essentially the Elantra in the U.S. The above image is the best representation of what we should expect, considering that sketches typically exaggerate the body lines of a vehicle. Naturally, expect the production model to have door handles, but the overall design and style should be retained when it debuts. Currently, it is believed that the 2017 Elantra will bow at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
Earlier this week, Hyundai released the first official teaser for the 2017 Elantra, which appears to be heavily influenced by the Genesis sedan. The 2017 Hyundai Elantra will also reflect the company’s vision for design on its future models.
Expect the compact car to retain the current 1.8- and 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines, while a 1.6-liter turbo will join the lineup paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
