The first teaser for the Bugatti Chiron is out and it may signal an unexpected surprise at this year’s Monterey Car Week.
Just yesterday, someone caught what appears to be a prototype of the Bugatti Veyron’s successor at the Los Angeles International Airport, which means that the car is in California. Now, the French automaker has released a vague video teaser, which is very likely for the Chiron. For the past few months, Bugatti has been caught on camera by numerous enthusiasts worldwide testing the Chiron, and perhaps it’ll steal the show with a debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, taking place this weekend.

The Chiron is said to get its power from an updated quad-turbo W16 engine mated to a hybrid powertrain that will make around 1,500 hp, giving the car a top speed of 286 mph. Watch the video teaser right to the end to hear the Chiron’s exhaust note.
AutoGuide.com will be reporting live from the Pebble Beack events that kick off later this evening and we’ll be keeping our eyes out to see what Bugatti has up its sleeves. For now, check out the teaser video below and let us know what you think Bugatti has in store.
