New Need for Speed Trailers Feature Industry Icons

The new Need for Speed game has enlisted the support of several icons in the industry.

At Gamescom 2015, Need for Speed released new trailers showcasing the game that is heading to the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems on November 3, 2015. One of the new trailers show off several icons in the automotive industry, including Gymkhana extraordinaire Ken Block, vintage Porsche restorer Magnus Walker and Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB) creator Nakai San. The reboot for the Need for Speed series embraces the underground culture of modifying cars and will feature many of the cars you’ve seen at past SEMA events.

Unlike entries from the Gran Turismo and Forza Horizon series, Need for Speed isn’t a game that will have you taking to the tracks in typical motorsports-style door-to-door racing. Instead, you’ll be engaging with real-life, street culture personalities who have shaped the industry in recent years. Other icons making an appearance include the Risky Devil Chicago drift crew and Yakuza member Morohoshi-san, who is well known for creating over-the-top custom Lamborghinis in Japan.
