Hilariously Lame Marketing Tweets from Automakers

Sometimes, the old people just don’t get the kids these days and botch the social media thing so hard.

Note to automakers: You need to put younger, less square people in charge of your social media.

Here are a few of the most hilariously lame attempts at social media from some of our favourite automakers.

No, Toyota. No they won’t. When was the last time you saw a bunch of bros bro-ing out over a Corolla?

Fiat, if the Fiat 500 Crossover is “beautiful,” then what the hell is the Alfa Romeo 4C?

No one is envious of your Honda CR-V. No one.

I’m pretty sure all those people were paid to be there.

WTF CHEVY LOL! Ur emoji use so not on fleek, yo. But the emoji I would pick is this one:

Apple's Sleeping Face

A Buick Verano is the least scandalous car I can think of. Ever.

And here are a few that are actually pretty good and made me chuckle:

Actually, they got the dude-bros in the Toyota tweet to look like that by taping this picture to the front passenger door.

What an embarrassment of an article…Car makers have to advertise their vehicles in some way. Just because you don’t like them, Auto Guide, doesn’t mean other don’t too. I expect more from a car blog site. The title is “hilariously lame” and these are far from hilarious and lame.
