Size Matters: Longer Bentley Mulsanne Spied Testing

The Bentley Mulsanne is getting a facelift and its long-wheelbase variant is getting longer.

AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers have caught the facelifted Bentley Mulsanne LWB testing in Spain, sporting a bolder front end that has been inspired by styling from the recently unveiled Bentayga. Along with a new front bumper design, the front grille gets subtle changes to complement the new headlights. It appears that the smaller light units have been moved upward, although they’re covered with the same type of material Bentley used to conceal the Bentayga’s headlight and tail light designs during the SUV’s testing phases.

The rear of the Bentley Mulsanne LWB doesn’t seem to get any drastic changes, though there is a bit of camouflage close to the rear door handle that could be hiding something new. As a long-wheelbase variant, this Mulsanne model is built to be driven around in, which is backed up by the sunroof over the rear seat section for the passengers to enjoy.

Along with the facelift, expect Bentley to outfit the Mulsanne with newer engines that will be more powerful and fuel efficient, following the formula that many automakers have been taking in recent years.
