Ford is previewing its upcoming documentary that will detail the Focus RS becoming a reality.
Titled Focus RS: Rebirth of an Icon, the full documentary video will be released next week on September 30 and will follow the highs and lows of the development team. From the design studio to its worldwide premiere, the video will showcase the hot hatch undergoing extreme testing from the Arctic to Arizona. In addition, it will reveal how the Ford Focus RS went through its paces while being co-developed with Gymkhana superstar Ken Block behind the wheel.
The 2016 Ford Focus RS will launch in the U.S. packing 345 horsepower from a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. But it won’t just be about its performance under the hood, the Focus RS will feature all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, allowing it to split from side-to-side and front-to-rear. According to Ford, up to 70 percent of total engine power can be diverted to the rear axle while 100 percent can be sent to either rear wheel.
